Transportation

The Hungaroring is located in Mogyoród, around 20 km northeast of central Budapest and approximately 30 km from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport.

Metro & Train

Public transport from central Budapest to the Hungaroring typically takes 60–90 minutes. Take the M2 metro to Örs vezér tere (change at Deák Ferenc tér if you're arriving on another metro line). From there, transfer to the H8 HÉV train towards Gödöllő, Kerepes, or Mogyoród, and get off at Kerepes. At Kerepes station, free shuttle buses run regularly to Gate 3 of the Hungaroring, with services timed to connect with arriving trains.

If you’d rather avoid the shuttle queues after the race, you can get off at Szilasliget or Mogyoród stations instead. Both are around a 25–30 minute walk from the circuit.

After the event, free shuttle buses operate from Gate 3 to Gödöllő Railway Station, where frequent trains run to Budapest Keleti Railway Station.

Free Shuttle Bus

Free shuttle buses operate between the Kerepes HÉV station and Gate 3 of the Hungaroring.

After the event, return shuttle buses depart from Gate 3 and take passengers to Gödöllő Railway Station. Gate 3 serves as both the pick-up and drop-off point for this shuttle service.

More information about shuttle bus services during the Hungarian Grand Prix is available here.

Taxi

The designated taxi pick-up and drop-off area is located near Gate 8 of the circuit, close to Turn 1.

By car

From Budapest city centre, take the M3 motorway towards Miskolc and exit at Mogyoród/Hungaroring. From there, follow the event signs to the circuit and the designated car parks. The journey normally takes 30–40 minutes, but on Grand Prix weekend it can take considerably longer due to heavy traffic.

From Budapest Airport, follow the M0 ring road towards the M3 motorway, then join the M3 towards Miskolc and exit at Mogyoród/Hungaroring. The drive usually takes 30–35 minutes outside peak traffic.

Parking

Several car parks are available around the Hungaroring, all within a 10–15 minute walk of the circuit.

P2 and P3 are free of charge. P1 is a paid car park in 2026, with pricing details to be announced closer to the event.

For the closest access, Premium (VIP) Parking is available near the main entrance and includes access via the VIP road. VIP parking tickets must be printed before arrival.

Overnight parking, sleeping in vehicles, and camping are not permitted in the standard car parks.
