Weather around the year

Hungary is located in a temperate zone and its climate is very variable. One of the main reasons for this variability is that the rainy ocean climate, which has a more balanced temperature range, the continental climate, which has extreme temperatures and low rainfall, and the Mediterranean climate, which is dry in the summer and rainy in the winter all have an impact. And any of these climate types can become dominant for short or extended periods. For this reason, Hungary can experience major differences in weather despite its relatively small area and flat topography.
