🙏 Dreaming of a peaceful sanctuary, hidden in the heart of nature? Let me tell you the story behind this picturesque, rustic log cabin by the lake—and why I built it. Simply put: because it was my dream, too! ❤️ I designed it so that when I wake up, I can soak in the view of the deep blue water right from my bed. Then, I’d head out to the porch to sip a hot coffee while listening to the swallows chirp. During the day, I’d get a traditional bean goulash going in the cauldron—but of course, you can't cook on an empty stomach! So, while the stew simmers, I’d roast some bacon over the fire. I’d enjoy my lunch in the garden pavilion, play a quick round of darts to unwind, and then head down for a swim in the lake. On weekends, I’m out fishing with my father; on weekdays, I’m off hiking the trails of the Bükk Mountains. Then it hit me: it would be a shame not to share this experience with others who long for the same thing. So, I’m opening my home to you. Whether you stay for a short getaway or a longer retreat is up to you—it all depends on how much of the local magic you want to discover. Within just 30km, there are enough adventures to last a lifetime! From the thermal baths of Miskolc-Tapolca and the Aggtelek Stalactite Cave to the endless hiking trails and crystal-clear springs of the Bükk Mountains.
