The characteristics of the seasons can be admired up close, as the house is located next to the forest, and the impressive range of Galyavár can be seen from the fantastic panorama of the 25-sqm terrace. In the 1200-sqm garden, there are other opportunities for relaxation: feathering for exercise lovers, frisbee, and a trampoline for children. As a way to end your daytime hiking, you can take care of your lunch or dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. This tiny settlement is located on the northern side of the Mátra, surrounded by 850-950 meter peaks and dense forests. Mátraalmás is one of the highest villages in the country and has unique natural features due to its geographical location. The atmosphere of the settlement is determined all year round by the proximity to nature, the peace and quiet that are relaxing after the noise of city life. The population of the settlement barely exceeds 40 people. In the vicinity of the village we find steep mountain slopes, crystal clear streams, and untouched meadows full of wildflowers in spring and summer. The climate of the area differs significantly from the conditions characteristic of the lower lying areas of Hungary.
