The Kiskörtés Guesthouse is located in the heart of the Zemplén Landscape Protection Area, nestled among the mountains, in the middle of the fairytale-like one-street village of Óhuta. This cozy guesthouse offers an infrared sauna, a fireplace, the possibility to cook outdoors in a traditional cauldron, a playground, and a spacious green garden with a gazebo. A gently babbling mountain stream flows just across the street, and hiking trails start practically at the doorstep, ensuring perfect relaxation for both active explorers and those seeking peaceful rest. The fully renovated house combines the nostalgic charm of traditional architecture with all the comforts of a well-equipped modern home. Several hiking trails of varying lengths begin right near the house, including the one leading to Lake Babuka. We climbed it almost every time we stayed here. We often hiked to the Pálos Spring from the edge of the village to drink fresh spring water, or trekked up to Kiskirályos to admire the breathtaking beauty of the Zemplén landscape from above.
