Our grandfather, Márton Noll, set off to try his luck in the "New World", America, together with 3 million of our compatriots in the early 1900s, and later traveled home and back several times. On his last return home in 1913, he married our grandmother, Anna Vara, and after the wedding they left for America, where they worked as waiters. In 1920, fleeing the economic crisis, they returned home, now with three children (Márton, Anna, Margit) at their side. With the money they had collected in America (which had been severely reduced by inflation), they set about building their home in Fellcsút, the "Noll farm".With decades of work, they created a flourishing horticulture, with which they not only gained recognition in the area, but also won awards at county gardening exhibitions with their products. The family grew quickly, after József,Ilona,János,Katalin,László,Etel and Adolf, their eleventh child Miklós .After the war, the horticulture wasdestroyed due to the tea plantation, the family moved to the village, and then the farm was demolished. After the change of regime, I, the grandson, managed to buy the farmstead, then build it in 2002-2005 and give the building a new function. As a guesthouse, we deal with rural tourism, but preserving the tradition (horticulture) and lavender cultivation and processing, 6 rooms: 2, 3 and 4 beds. With decades of work, we have created a plantation of several thousand stems, from which we use lavender oil and flowers to make souvenirs.
