14th National Gallop

The National Gallop is both a historic horse race and a cross-border festival of Hungary, based on Hungarian traditions and held in Heroes' Square in Budapest.

The National Gallop is a unique equestrian feast and a cultural, tourist, gastronomic and historical settlement event based on Hungarian traditions. Its aim is the same as it was when the first National Gallop was organised: to revive our equestrian traditions, to enrich them with new content, and to build the national image. In 2021 the event will be held across 15 venues, including 4 cross-border towns, from which the best will qualify for the finals in Heroes' Square in Budapest on the 2nd and 3rd of October. A special feature of this year's event will be the return of the Charity Celebrity Run after several years of absence. As every year, the event will be broadcast live by Duna Television.
