At the centre of this Catholic world event stands Jesus Christ, present in the form of bread and wine. This year, our country is given a unique opportunity to showcase Hungarian culture, tradition and historic heritage, as well as the thousand-year-old presence of Christianity here in the Carpathian Basin.
The week-long event will feature open-air Holy Masses, concerts, exhibitions, presentations, testimonies, historical city tours, family activities, and a film festival, with the historic buildings and vibrant cultural scene of Budapest providing an ideal backdrop, along with its picturesque location, delicious food, and famous hospitality.
