Step into the world of powerful storytelling as the Budapest International Documentary Festival (BIDF) 2026 returns from 24 January to 1 February, bringing 60 acclaimed films and 250 screenings to Budapest and 12 cities across Hungary. 
Under the bold motto “Your future’s film is already rolling,” the 12th edition presents 33 competition films exploring the future of knowledge, justice, family, relationships and the world, with many filmmakers and protagonists attending in person.
