The Budapest Wine Festival is Hungary’s most prestigious wine cultural event.
In its three decades of history, this event has become a concept in its own right, and one which both wine lovers and wine producers simply refer to as „The Wine Festival". Our goal has been the same since 1992: to present wine as part of the universal culture in a unique environment on a global scale, providing an unforgettable festival experience for all visitors, both Hungarian and foreign. Every year, it shows tens of thousands of people the most beautiful face of Hungarian wine against the backdrop of a breathtaking, world heritage site, evoking the atmosphere of the traditional harvest fairs in Vár, but with a modern feel.
