FCI European Dog Show

Want to see more than 16,000 of the most beautiful dogs from 57 different countries? Then visit the Hungexpo exhibition centre in Budapest from the 28th to the 31st of December, where the FCI European Dog Show awaits you. It’s been 13 years since Hungary last hosted the international dog beauty and talent competition, but now the biggest dog breeders and dog lovers in Europe and Hungary can come together once more in Budapest. The event will be hosted by the renewed Hungexpo.

Between the 28th and the 31st of December 2021, the Hungarian Kennel Club will organize the FCI European Dog Show in Budapest, along with its accompanying events, with the entire area of the renewed Hungexpo hosting thousands of Hungarian and European dogs.

The European Dog Show is one of the most important international dog shows in the world, and is held annually, just like the World Dog Show. This will be the third time that Hungary has won the honour of organizing the show, having first hosted back in 1993, and then again 15 years later in 2008.

The series of cynology events will start on the 28th of December with the Grand Prix Winner CACIB Show, an international dog show for all breeds, and it will continue on the 29th, 30th, and 31st with the judging of individual breeds. The exhibition will be enriched further by professional events and presentations, special events and club shows organized by breed clubs, and a world meeting of Hungarian breeds held on the 30th.

The Hungarian Kennel Club welcomes the Hungarian and international canine society, dog lovers, all dog keepers, and all those interested in the European Dog Show and its accompanying and club events!
