Equestrian vaulting is perhaps the only sport in the world where the trainers or lungers compete together with their students, guiding the competitor's horse from the middle of the competition circle.
This year, the World Championships will be held at the National Riding Hall for the first time, although this venue has previously hosted many other international competitions with great success, including the international qualifying competition back in June that decided on the Hungarian competitors to represent their country in August.
Hungary boasts excellent international results in vaulting and, among the currently active top vaulters, the name of Balázs Bence is worth mentioning, who became European Junior Champion in 2014. The competitions will be held behind closed doors, but will be broadcast live on FEI TV, the International Equestrian Federation's own TV channel.
