The world's most popular, largest-scale, and most professional series is followed by tens of millions of viewers on TV week by week, with hundreds of thousands more watching in person. During the last weekend of July, the F1 returns to Hungary for the 37th year in a row, making the Hungaroring the circuit with the most consecutive appearances (behind Monza) in the championship’s history.
For the drivers, the Hungaroring represents tradition and consistency in F1, and the close proximity to the circuit of Hungary’s beautiful capital city, Budapest, is just another reason that the Hungarian Grand Prix is so popular with all members of the F1 family.
Despite the construction of five extra grandstands at the Hungarian circuit, the event sold out within days, with fans snapping up all available tickets by the end of the first week of April, demonstrating the championship’s continuing popularity.
