The free-to-enter Gyerek Sziget starts on Whitsun weekend, on the 4th-5th-6th of June and awaits the tiny festival-goers and their parents for two more weekends – after two years, at its usual location, the Hajógyári Island.
The Gyerek Sziget is one of Hungary’s biggest and free family events with many concerts, puppetry, dance, competitions, sport programs, theme park, bouncy castle, arts and crafts and many more programs for children.
Halász Judit opens the event, the Belvárosi Betyárok, the Veronaki, the Kiskalász, the Kaláka, Farkasházi Réka and the Tintanyúl, the Kolompos, the Rutkai Bori Banda and the Apacuka will also perform on stage during the festival. The visitors will be able to choose from many different and fun activities, for example a petting zoo, Vándor Vurstli Knight’s Castle, Kerek Perec gastronomy playground, Children’s Paradise, a kennel, a spot for board games and Négy Évszak Giant Bouncy Castle.
