The Hortobágy Equestrian Days will welcome visitors for the 57th time at the Mátai Stud Farm, in the heart of the Great Hungarian Plain. This long-standing event showcases the rich equestrian traditions of Hortobágy, the region’s unique pastoral culture, and the heritage of the historic Mátai Stud Farm.
The programme includes show jumping competitions, the National Csikós Championship, the National Carriage Driving League, spectacular horse shows, an evening fire horse show, a Children’s Equestrian Village, as well as a craft fair and traditional craft demonstrations.
Set in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of Hortobágy, the festival offers an unforgettable experience for professional riders, horse lovers, families, and visitors interested in Hungary’s living traditions.
