Balaton + Retro Exhibition - Advertising and propaganda for the Ideal Holiday

Lake Balaton is our national treasure, our most popular holiday destination, and the ultimate symbol of life and summer freedom. Until the turn of the century it was known as the Hungarian “retro skanzen”, and now visitors to the Balaton + Retro exhibition can experience a taste of what attracted visitors to the lake between 1930 and 1988 through this collection of antique prints and unique objects.
