Once, high quality classical music could only be enjoyed in grand opera houses, but with the arrival of the Lake Tisza Festival eight years ago, it is now possible to experience live concerts in a magical, natural setting under the summer sun.
Summer outings and classical music concerts: wonderful waterfront magic. Whether you’re a lover of outdoor summer music festivals or not, take the Tisza ferry to a classical music concert where you can enjoy various styles in a truly picturesque setting. In order to take full advantage of all that Lake Tisza has to offer its visitors, it’s well worth also taking part in the Tour D’Opera, with 8 mini concerts being held across the 67km route, plus additional surprises awaiting riders. Meanwhile, the Boat D’Opera offers its participants the chance to enjoy soothing sounds while their boats are gently rocking back and forth on the beautiful lake.
