Gala concert of the 100 Member Gypsy Orchestra with wine dinner
The 29th MUSIC-WINE celebration has already become a tradition, where every year on December 30, the world’s one and only 100 Member Gypsy Orchestra gives a grand gala concert. 100 musicians play at the same time on the grand concert, performing popular melodious tunes while the audience is tasting selected outstanding wines of Hungarian wineries.
This year, the concert continues a cherished tradition, presenting well-known operetta highlights by Imre Kálmán, Ferenc Lehár, and Johann Strauss. Renowned soloists from the Budapest Operetta Theatre and the Hungarian State Opera bring these timeless melodies to life, with standout performances by Enikő Lévai and Máté Fülep. The evening concludes with the much-loved Pacsirta and the Radetzky March, conducted by principal violinist József Lendvai Csócsi.
Delicious meal, famous wine, splendid show and fantastic milieu, the 100 Member Gypsy Orchestra is looking forward to welcoming those looking for entertainment with a gala program on December 30th., at the Budapest Congress Center.
