Volcanic Wines and Nighttime Magic: Saint George Hill UNTIL DAWN 2026!

There is a day each year when time stands still among the basalt columns of Saint George Hill (Szent György-hegy), and the vineyards fill with life, music, and light. On June 6, 2026, the Balaton Uplands’ most enchanting festival returns for its ninth year, blending nature, community, and legendary volcanic wines.

What’s New This Year?
The motto for 2026 is "TOGETHER." In a world that feels increasingly complex, this event is all about real human connections. To help the sparks fly, every ticket holder receives a unique "conversation-starter card" alongside their tasting glass—perfect for breaking the ice with friends or friendly strangers over a glass of wine.

The festival kicks off at noon on Saturday with a musical parade starting from the Szászi Estate. As the sun dips below the horizon, the real magic begins: the hill’s paths and ancient trees will be bathed in stunning light installations, turning a simple stroll between cellars into a fairytale adventure.

From High Noon Until Dawn
With nearly 30 venues participating, you’ll be spoiled for choice:

  • Daytime Chill (12:00–22:00): Sip award-winning wines at iconic spots like Bencze Birtok, Szászi, or Pap Wines.
  • Nighttime Vibes (12:00–01:00): If you’re not ready to call it a night, keep the energy high with DJ sets and concerts at Killer Cellar, 2HA, or the Pláne wine terrace.
  • Gastro & Culture: Discover natural wines, art exhibitions, local delicacies, and even a "daytime disco" brunch on Sunday at the Gilvesy B-üzem.

Secure Your Spot!
This event is a local favorite and sells out every year. To keep the atmosphere intimate and sustainable for the hill, tickets are strictly limited.

Ticket Sales: Starting April 1, at 10:00 AM. Location: Szent György-hegy (North shore of Lake Balaton) and ONLINE PLATFORM.

Pro Tip: Make a weekend of it! Come on Friday for warm-up parties (like the Woodstock party at Killer Cellar) and stay for the Sunday brunch.

Grab your glass and get ready to get lost in the magic!
