Hungary's premier ecotourism festival, the Goose Festival of Tata awaits nature lovers on November 28, 2026, along the shores of Lake Öreg in Tata, featuring wild goose watching, telescopes, and environmental family activities. 

Celebrating a quarter-century tradition, this conservation event honors the grand arrival of tens of thousands of wild geese migrating from Siberia and Scandinavia. From early morning fly-out to evening fly-in, visitors can observe the birds through high-powered telescopes, guided by expert ornithologists, alongside nature talks, craft fairs, and children's workshops. Admission is free.
