The Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest presents a spectacular exhibition spanning over a millennium of Chinese history, centered on one of the world’s most iconic archaeological discoveries: the Terracotta Army. The show features more than 150 ancient artefacts, including weapons, ceremonial objects, symbols of imperial power and ten original warriors from the First Emperor’s clay army. Visitors are invited to explore the age of Qin Shi Huangdi — the pursuit of immortality, the structure of his vast empire, and the legacy that shaped Chinese civilization. A complementary display also highlights the nomadic cultures along the Great Wall and their interactions with China throughout the first millennium. The exhibition, which features ten original figures from the First Emperor’s terracotta army, awaits visitors until the beginning of May.
