If you enjoy traditional food and music, then join us for the 3-day Tirpák Festival in Kossuth Square between the 16th and the 18th of September 2022, and savour the delights of Tirpák cuisine.
The Festival starts with concerts on Friday evening, then Saturday and Sunday will see amateur and professional teams cooking more than fifty varieties of traditional meals according to local recipes. Heavily featuring traditional ingredients such as potatoes, cabbage, smoked meat, and seasonal fruits, the dishes will be available for visitors to try with the purchase of a tasting ticket.
Partner cities of Nyíregyháza are also invited to the festival, where they will present their local gastronomy and tourist attractions.
To top it all off, the culinary experiences will be accompanied by joyful music from Gabi Tóth, Attila Pataky, Szilárd Nagy and Misa Ragány, LK Beat and Mentha Project, as well as the Folkfusion and Polip bands.
