The Valley of Arts (Művészetek Völgye) is more than a festival—it’s a state of mind. For ten days, three tiny, picturesque villages in the Balaton Uplands (Kapolcs, Vigántpetend, and Taliándörögd) transform into a massive, open-air creative workshop. Forget the giant stages and flashing LED walls; here, concerts happen in people’s backyards, literature talks are held under cherry trees, and the local community opens its doors to artists and travelers alike. It is Hungary's oldest and most authentic "slow" festival.
