January 22nd will see the last Winter Etyeki Piknik as we know it, but it will return in a new format soon!
You know it’s the start of the year when the Etyek cellars, press houses, and guest waiting areas open for the Winter Etyeki Piknik, ready to enchant guests with delicious, hot drinks and pork dishes. This year is no exception, with the event set to take place on January 22nd! We have, however, been informed that this Winter Piknik will be the last. So, what next?
For this, the tenth outing of the Etyeki Piknik, the organisers have revealed that it will be the last. However, they immediately reassured us all that this is definitely not the end! On the contrary, they have plans for something fresh and exciting, although full details will only be revealed after the January Piknik event. Until then, we shall have to content ourselves with the hot drinks, the classic winter dishes, and the fun among the winter dunes. The butcher has timed the hog roast to be ready at 9am, so there’s no need to get up at the crack of dawn, but it does make it well worth a visit to the Gastro Promenade in the morning. If that’s not your thing, then never fear, for the gastronomic and cultural activities will continue throughout the day, with harmonica music, pork roasts, tasty delicacies, drinks, and much more.
